Nail Art: Stripes and Dots with L’Oréal Now You Sea Me and Wet n Wild Megalast Through the Grapevine

This was a quick and easy design that I got the idea from on tumblr here.

I used a light blue called Now You Sea Me by L’Oréal and a medium berry/fuchia called Through the Grapevine from Wet n Wild’s Megalast line for the base colors. For the stripes and dots I used Black Satin from Rimmel.

Valentine’s Day Mani: Nicole by OPI Love Your Life over Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Raspberry Rapture

This is two coats of Revlon Raspberry Rapture, a bright berry creme, topped off with one coat of Nicole by OPI Love Your Life. The hearts in Love Your Life are sparse so you have to kind of fish them out and place them on the nail, but its definitely worth it. I put Revlon Sublime Strawberry on my accent nail. The scented Revlons smell just like their names but it really only lasts about a day.

Valentine’s Day Mani: Jelly Sandwich with OPI Do You Think I’m Tex-y and Wet n Wild Back Alley Deals

This was one coat of Do You Think I’m Tex-y, then one very light coat of Back Alley Deals then another coat of Do You Think I’m Tex-y and all topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush Nail Polish in Lady Luck Swatch

Lady Luck is a berry/magenta super sparkly holo packed glitter. It’s like the berry version of China Glaze Some Like it Haute. It’s gritty as hell just like most of the glitters similar to this. The good thing is its opaque in just two coats. It also dries matte so I did two coats of arched vite on top to help smooth it out.

Tribal and Lightning Bolt Nail Art

Instead if changing my whole mani from yesterday like I normally do, I decided to just update it with some nail art. I think it turned out pretty good!

Colors used: China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, Orly Flirty, and a black with silver glitter striper.

Hedy’s Ma.nish.ma. “Holographic” Nail Color in Way Out Fuscia Swatch

Today’s mani is from a brand that is new to me. I saw a display for 3 different shades of “holographic” polish at at rite-aid the other day. Since I’d never heard of the brand and they weren’t alll that cheap for a drugstore brand (3.99) I decided to just get one for now. I chose Way Out Fuscia which is a light magenta shimmer with flashes of blue. Definitely NOT a holo idk why they would call it that. The other shades ( a light purple and white shimmer) didn’t look holo at all in the bottle either. The formula on this was okay, it was kind if thin so I did 3 coats.
Ps- that’s Orly Stone Cold on my accent nail.
