Today’s mani is a glitter gradient featuring China Glaze Fancy Pants and Nyx Dynamic Glitter.
Fancy Pants is a medium blue with a subtle purple shimmer. After it dries it is a little darker than what you see in the bottle.
Dynamic Glitter is a super sparkly lavender glitter with larger hexagon glitter.

I really like how these turned out. Glitter gradients are a really easy way to add a little exta something to a basic mani.

This was a quick and easy design that I got the idea from on tumblr here.

I used a light blue called Now You Sea Me by L’Oréal and a medium berry/fuchia called Through the Grapevine from Wet n Wild’s Megalast line for the base colors. For the stripes and dots I used Black Satin from Rimmel.

Instead if changing my whole mani from yesterday like I normally do, I decided to just update it with some nail art. I think it turned out pretty good!

Colors used: China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise, Orly Flirty, and a black with silver glitter striper.

Tribal Nail Art

So last night I came home from work and was kinda bored so instead of just doing a basic mani like I normally do I decided to do a tribal design. I picked out a few colors and then painted all of my nails with one coat of the lightest polish (Mermaid’s Tears) and then just started adding designs on top. I love this mani because each nail is completely different but they all still go together so its not too out there. It was a lot of work though so I don’t think this is one I will be doing very often and I think I’ll keep it on for a while instead of just one day like I normally do. Let me know what you think!

Colors used: OPI in Mermaids Tears and Funky Dunkey, Rimmel London in Steel Grey, Sally Hansen in Gray by Gray and black, white, and gold stripers.

Water Color Fall Themed Mani

It took me forever to figure out what to call this but i finally came up with “water color” mani because that’s what it reminds me of the most. I couldn’t tell you all the colors that I used here but i can tell you I used Rimmel London Steel Grey as a base and Rags to Riches on my accent nail. Then I layered different colors (I tried to stick with colors that remind me of fall leaves) over a different section of each nail. I think it turned out pretty cool and I’m definitely going to try this with different color combos.

This is one if my favorite nail art designs to do because its super cute and really easy and quick to do. I started with 2 coats of Revlon Blue Lagoon, a sky blue with silver shimmer and then used a dotting tool and white polish to make the clouds. I put Revlon Cotton Candy (which actually smells like cotton candy!) on my accent nail.

Neon Splatter Mani

I saw the tutorial for this mani on thepolishaholic.com yesterday and it looked really cool and easy to do so I decided to try it. When I first started I wasn’t too sure if I was going to like it but now that its all done and cleaned up I really love it! I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in White On as a base (which is a really great easy-to-apply white creme btw) and some neons (pink, orange, yellow, and green) from the Color Club Electro Candy collection. I’m definitely going to be doing some more of these with different colors.
